Your local choices
The launch checklist and Spoiler guard preference are saved in your browser’s local storage only. They are not sent to our server. You can reset the checklist or clear browser storage at any time. They do not automatically sync between devices.
Aggregate audience measurement
VI LIVE keeps first-party aggregate statistics so we can improve the hub: page views, approximate daily visitor and visit counts, popular public pages, incoming referrer domains and search-engine landings. We do not use advertising trackers, cross-site profiles or third-party analytics pixels for this dashboard.
For visitor and visit estimates, the server temporarily transforms the connection address and browser user-agent into short-lived one-way marks. Raw IP addresses and raw user-agent strings are not written to the analytics database. Visitor marks rotate every day, visit marks use short time buckets, and temporary marks are purged after the aggregation window, so the dashboard cannot follow the same reader around over long periods or across websites. Figures are estimates rather than identity records.
We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track for this first-party measurement. You can also object here at any time. The opt-out cookie is used only to remember that choice.
Opting out does not affect the site, checklist, videos or map. Cloudflare may still process ordinary network data required to deliver and secure the website.
Cloudflare and security
Our hosting provider Cloudflare processes network requests and may maintain its own operational or security logs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Short-lived hashed network identifiers are also used to limit repeated failed administrator logins. An administrator who signs in receives a secure session cookie lasting up to eight hours.
YouTube videos and thumbnails
VI LIVE uses YouTube API Services to read public video titles, channel names, publication dates, thumbnails and playback availability. We do not request access to your YouTube account. Video metadata is refreshed or withheld when it becomes stale.
Thumbnails are requested from YouTube image servers when displayed. The actual player is loaded only after you choose to load it. Playback uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain, but playback can still share information with YouTube and may involve cookies or advertisements. Before loading a player you are shown links to this notice, our terms, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Other external services
The community map is not loaded until you request it. It connects directly to State of Leonida and is governed by that project’s own practices. Publisher images, Google Fonts and official Rockstar video are requested from their respective hosts when displayed or played. External store and article links take you to websites with their own terms and privacy policies.
