1. Strong language is allowed
You do not need to censor ordinary swearing. Heated disagreement about GTA 6, Rockstar, creators, rumours or gameplay is fine. Attack the argument, not the person.
2. Hate is not
No slurs, dehumanising attacks or calls for exclusion or violence based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or similar protected characteristics. Context matters, but “it was a joke” is not a free pass to target people.
3. No targeted abuse, threats or doxxing
Do not repeatedly harass another member, threaten real-world violence, encourage self-harm, publish private personal information, organise dogpiles or try to intimidate someone off the site.
4. No sexual exploitation
No sexual content involving minors, coercion, intimate images shared without consent, or requests for exploitative material.
5. No scams, malware or spam
Do not use the community to push fake downloads, account theft, cheats carrying malware, financial scams or repetitive promotional spam.
6. Spoilers belong in the spoiler room
Pre-release speculation is part of the fun. Once story material exists, keep major story spoilers inside the clearly marked Spoilers & Story room unless the surrounding conversation clearly opts in.
7. Report; don’t retaliate
Every message has a private Report control, and the Community page has a general abuse/safety report. Reports are reviewed privately. Repeated misuse of reporting tools can itself be moderated.
What moderation can do
VI LIVE may hide or remove messages, mute accounts, ban accounts and preserve limited moderation records. Automated safeguards may temporarily hold high-risk messages for human review. They are deliberately aimed at hate, threats, exploitation and spam—not ordinary profanity.
Public chat is user-generated content. VI LIVE is an independent fan hub and is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
